WELCOME TO GASCONY! Lovely 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath Gascogne home on a 5 acre lot a short bike ride from one of France's most beautiful medieval Bastides in the SW Armagnac region. Come and enjoy Gascony's wonderful foods, wines (armagnacs), and festivals without the crowds of other regions. Private 10 x 4 Meter pool is refreshing and inviting. Just sit down, relax and soak in the rays, or go play a round of golf on the nearby course, then sit on the patio and have an aperitif afterwards. If you simply want to relax with friends or family, this home has enough space for all and can accommodate the largest families comfortably. You and your family ( or friends) will have the whole home to yourselves! I prefer to allow our guests unfettered access without interruption. However, either I or our House Manager, Chantal, are always available by phone or text if necessary. Centrally located and close to many diversions and distractions including Thermal Spas, Bordeaux, Pau and the Pyrenees, St. Emilion, San Sebastian (Spain), Mimizan Beach, Marciac and its renowned Jazz Fest, Eugenie-les-Bain (a 3 Michelin star rated restaurant) and a host of other sites and attractions. The nearby village has several restaurants, France's oldest continually operating bar (since 1885), an ice-cream shop, bakery-pastry shop, post office, pharmacy, and most other necessary amenities. A 25 KM greenway is right down the street for walking and riding, and bikes are included with the rental.
