Chambre dans la ferme Alxukia au Pays Basque

The bedroom is bright and cosy. The place is very quiet; you can hear the birds and you will be able to take some time to rest on a comfortable king size bed or 2 single beds upon request. Alxukia farm was built circa 1600 however the bedroom has all the modern comfort. There is a private full ensuite bathroom. Breakfast is not included but can be arranged at extra cost upon request. This is the perfect place to relax. Bedroom with king size bed on ground floor with ensuite bathroom. There is a private access to the exterior. On clear days you have view of the Pyrénées. Private access to bedroom; Shared access to garden We are located between two main villages where you can purchase groceries, nice bread and go to restaurants: Bidache (10km) and Saint Palais (11km) There is a bus (nr 11) that runs from Saint Palais to Bayonne. The bus stop is in the village of Arraute (15 mn walk). There are some markets in the surrounding villages, feel free to ask us when they occure. Alxukia is an old farm that was mostly meadow and we are working on our Permaculture project; We have few happy chickens and some sheep. We can give you a tour and explain to you our ongoing projects. You will be more than welcome to help if you feel like getting your hands in the soil ;)
