The quiet could be only interrupted by animal noises or eventually by farm machinery. You will love to walk, ride a bike or ride a horse through wonderful landscapes. In the nearby of the House there is a lake where It is allowed to fish and a fenced area where there are owners’ horses. The owners make themselves available for any requirement or advice about the territory and the typical food of the area. It will be a relaxing holiday in the countryside; despite this, you could easily reach the nearby countries where you will definitely have a lot of fun. The Residence is 40 minutes from Siena (reachable by car), 30 minutes from Florence (reachable by car, buses or train; the train takes 25 minutes from Figline Valdarno Station to Firenze Santa Maria Novella Station, which is in the centre of Florence). You can also easily reach Arezzo by car or public transport. Car routes for the country roads allow you to visit wonderful places, famous for their history, food and wine traditions. “La Fornace” is situated in the same area of the Company of Fauna and hunting called “Il Palagio”, which is property of the famous singer Sting. Few metres from the House there is a beautiful terrace of an historical Hotel-Restaurant, where you will have the pleasure to taste typical dishes and excellent cocktails.
