La Maison Bleue

Welcome to La Maison Bleue. This private 3 bedroom house has a magnificent view of the Ganganel valley's slopes, with Roc d'Aigle (The Rock of the Eagle) at the pinnacle. The house consists of two floors. Downstairs there are two spacious living rooms, a dining room, a kitchen and wc. The lounge has a Smart TV, where you can log into Netflix and watch YouTube. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed. One of the bedrooms also has a double sleeper couch, suitable for two small children, on request. On the lower level, there is a separate wc. Linen and towels are provided. You can also access a garden terrace with beautiful views up the stairs, shared with guests that may be staying in the gite. Parking is available right in front of the house. Cabrespine, nestled on the Mediterranean facing slopes of the Montagne Noire is a popular nature getaway destination, great for hiking and bird-watching. If you love sightseeing, our village is home to the Gouffre Géant, one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Europe, open to the public. Although there are no shops in Cabrespine itself, you can find a selection of food shops, a pharmacy, bars and restaurants in the next town 7kms away in Villeneuve Minervois. Cabrespine is perfect as a base to visit the region with countless places to visit or to walk with the family such as Minerve, Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, the beaches of the Mediterranean, and many more. In the summer, take a dip and cool down at Lac de Pradelles-Cabardes (15 minutes by car). Further up the road, you’ll find Pic de Nore, the highest peak on the Montagne Noire, where you have a panoramic view on a clear day of the Pyrenees, the Corbières, the Mediterranean Sea, the Toulouse plain and the Lacaune Mountains!
