A dog friendly escape in the Carmarthenshire hills

Near the edge of the Brecon Beacons The Annexe is set in 15 acres of meadows bordered by a small river. If you are looking to get away from it all Glanlash is the perfect. For nature lovers we have a variety of wild flowers and birds. On a clear night our rural location offers great opportunities for star gazing. We are surrounded by castles, beaches and attractions including the National Botanic Gardens. Further out are the beautiful Gower, Tenby beaches and walks and waterfalls of Brecon. The Annexe has a south facing front terrace that is perfect for an al fresco breakfast which could include our freshly laid eggs. You can spend your days ambling around the meadows looking for the perfect spot for a picnic or sitting by the stream reading a book. In the evening you can enjoy a drink or two on the decking overlooking the pond and if it gets chilly, light the log burning fire. We have a kitchen with a log burning fire, convection oven/microwave and an electric hob with two burners. The living room/diner has a leather reclining sofa, electric fire, TV and table and chairs for meals or WFH if necessary. The bedroom has plenty of storage space and French doors opening on to the decking area with great views of the pond and rolling meadows. The spacious bathroom has a choice of both a bath and a shower. The property has its own parking space. The Annexe is adjacent to the main farmhouse so we are only a knock or text message away most of the time. We are very lucky that we have the best of both worlds in terms of a rural location but with several major supermarkets, take aways and pubs all within a ten minute drive. We are also within a 15 minute drive of the Botanic Garden of Wales, and the thirteenth century Carreg Cennen castle and the Dinefwr Estate which includes Newton House reputed to be one of the most haunted properties in Britain. From the farm the best way to see the sights is by car or bicycle. We are also well stocked with great local pubs and retail parks with supermarkets for all your requirements within a 10 minute drive.
