Typical old Piemontese country villa, restored and refurbished with antique furniture, modern fully equipped kitchen, 3 double bedrooms, children attic, 4 bathrooms, two fireplaces. Perfectly located at the feet of Marittime Alps, it is 15minutes away from the MondolèSki area (Rastello)and 30 min from Barolo: a base to explore its world class vineyards, Alba's truffles, Langhe area. Riviera Ligure is just one hour away. Our house has been restored with love and care for the old things our ancestors put together in more than a century. From the old furniture to the embroidered bed linen and towels, everything in the house has a story to tell. The house is 240 m2 enjoys a very big kitchen, guest toilet, a dining room and a large living room on the ground floor. The first floor consists of three large bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with hot tub. On the top floor there is a spacious children bedroom and a bathroom. All the spaces are large and the house is suitable for big families or groups. In front of the kitchen there is a big terrace for "alfresco" dining in summer. Our big wimming pool and Sauna are available exclusively for our guests. Garden table and chairs, a barbecue and hammock for under the tree siestas in summer. In winter you can use the covered patio to store your skiing equipment and release winter sport pains with a restoring sauna. In children attic each of the four beds has an additional mattress for very very big families or children friends. You will have the whole house at your disposal; the neighbors are really kind, reserved people and we usually buy the fantastic cheese they make every day. They also sell us the wood we use for the fireplaces. Their chickens sometimes enjoy a tour in our garden, but the two lands can be separated by closing a gate. There is a lot of space to park many cars around the house. The house will be all yours! I live in Switzerland and come to La Distrutta twice a year. You will get instructions on how to get the keys from my super kind neighbours and some basic instructions in case of need. Mondovi' and the province of Cuneo are a real treasure for tourism. In winter we spend most of our holidays skiing in the Mondolè ski area: the best way to access it is from Rastello, just 15 minutes drive from the house: the Rastello access is very convenient for skiers as it is usually less crowded than the more known Artesina and Prato Nevoso villages. Rastello has a chairlift that connects skiers to the slopes of these famous ski areas, making it very easy to reach the slopes without too much queue. For the cross country skiing lovers, the closest loop is in Valle Pesio, just 25 minutes away, with the beautiful Certosa and a fantastic track through the untouched woods of the valley. In summer you can enjoy the countless hiking opportunities on the alps across Italy and France, or make a wine tasting tour in the most famous areas of Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, all accessible through very scenic drives. all year round the countless picturesque villages are worth a visit for thier wonderful historical centers and great food offer in typical trattorias. Our house is 20 minutes drive from Mondovi'. The best way to get there is by car, as the house is in the middle of the countryside. Sauna has an extra charge of 10 euros per day to be payed in cash
