Number 5 is located on the waterfront in Kilchattan Bay on the Isle of bute, surrounded by stunning landscapes and beautiful scenery. It is located in a very quite and peaceful village at the south end of the Island just 15 minutes drive from the main town of Rothesay. Keep everyone busy with an xbox, dvd's, games, superfast broadband and catch up TV and HD Netflix. Flexible check in with lockbox for key. The garden is shared with a swing chair to use and your own dedicated table and chairs in a sun trap (available spring and summer) We own the property above and if there we are happy to offer personal advice on walks, restaurants, places to visit and anything else you need information on. If not there we are happy to provide this by phone or e mail. Kilchattan Bay post office is available for all your essentials including coffee and cake. The Kingarth Hotel and Smiddy Bar is a 15 minute walk away and serves good food all day with an extensive specials board over the log burning fire. Kingarth Golf Club is a 9 hole golf course 10 mins drive away that welcomes visitors (honesty box). There is horse trekking on the island. Sea kayaking is popular and can be booked even as a beginner. Loch Fad has trout/pike fishing available on its 175 acre loch. The island is simple to drive around with many great beaches and walks are easy to reach. There is a regular bus service from Rothesay to Kilchattan Bay.
