Little Langford Shepherds Hut: Glamping in Devon!

Our beautiful luxury 20ft Shepherds Hut complete with Hot Tub is located in the charming Devonian village of Abbotskerswell, the hut is furnished tastefully with beautiful linen, Goose down bedding, Wifi, television & a well equipped kitchen. The Shepherds hut has been beautifully finished in oak, with underfloor heating and a log burner, offering luxury within a rustic setting. The bathroom includes WC, basin and walk-in shower, all services are mains linked. There is a small Belling 2 plate stove/oven and fridge supplied. The hut is situated below the house in a large natural garden. The area overlooks a field with horses and views out across the countryside, partially screened by large trees in the summer. The Hot tub is positioned to the side of the hut and offers full privacy from the house. It is fully cleaned and serviced between guests. There is a good sized paved patio to the front of the hut, well furnished with table & chairs, loungers, a natural fire pit (logs supplied) & freestanding Hammock. Guests have full use of a Gas BBQ on site. Access to the hut is through the main entrance up a winding drive to the house where parking is available. There are two pubs within walking distance that serve good food. The village is a 300m walk down the hill, it has a shop and coffee shop. We live on site, but the accommodation is entirely independent. We will however be very happy to help you with any queries and will be there to greet you when you arrive. Abbotskerswell is a lovely old & very friendly village offering a delightful “local”, The Court Farm Inn, within walking distance (a bit of a climb on way home!) & serving delicious home cooked food daily. (advisable to book on weekends‬) There is a well stocked village shop, open for extended hours 7 days a week, also within walking distance Also a delightful cafe The Orchard, in the heart of the village and a Fish & chip van visiting every Monday! The Two Mile Oak pub is situated just outside the village on the Totnes Road & serves very nice Pub grub. (Booking also advisable on ‭ (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) ‬) All three places offer Vegetarian choices & some gluten free, dairy free & Vegan options. Sainsbury’s & Asda are within a mile or two. There are many delightful scenic walks all around us. More information in your welcome pack. We are two miles from the centre of Newton Abbot where there are rail links to all parts of the country. There is a (limited) local bus service from the village into Newton Abbot 6 days a week. Plenty of parking is available on site If you are looking for a quiet country get away which is both luxurious and close to nature and like to interact with animals, then this is the place for you! Our location makes getting around South Devon very easy. We welcome dogs at an additional charge of £20 per dog per stay, payable on arrival. We offer you a very warm welcome and will do everything to make your stay enjoyable and memorable.
