Brand new for 2021 - a luxury wood cabin, with a large sleeping and dining area, well equipped separate kitchen and bathrooms with free standing bath. Set in Ponsticill in The Brecon Beacons National Park the cabin is set in the perfect location to explore all the Beacons has to offer yet close enough to the Cities of Cardiff and Swansea to enjoy a bustling day shopping or an escape the the beautiful Gower Peninsula. We offer a luxury unique experience - guaranteed excellence! Our tranquil cabin adds a touch of romance and luxury to your country escape! Large private outdoor spaces with breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys equipped with high quality outdoor furniture, heaters and cosy blankets for the chillier of nights. The cabin itself has a comfortable double bed, dining and seating areas to the central space with a well equipped kitchen to one annexe and a luxury bathroom (plus bathrobes!) to the other. If cooking on you break isn’t your ideal thought the cabins is based in the Village of Ponsticill where you will find two fantastic family public houses serving home cooked meals within easy walking distance. We are dog friendly and will happily accept one we’ll behaved four legged friend during your stay. We are available or as remote as you need us to be! We live in the property adjacent to the cabin - however the area in which the cabin is set is totally private from our home. We are happy to work with any special request, flowers, hampers - BBQ packs etc, just ask and we’ll try our very best to make it happen! The village of Ponsticill is well known for its access to fantastic countryside walks, waterfalls, reservoirs and of course Pen-Y-Fan to name just a few. A friendly village that welcomes visitors to the area, with bustling village pubs popular year round with visitors and locals alike. Within 3 miles of the historic town of Merthyr Tydfil with its numerous shops, busy market and of course Bike Park Wales and Parkwood outdoor pursuits centres for the more energetic visitor. Crickhowell, Brecon, Abergavenny, Cardiff and Swansea are all easily accessed with 20-59 minutes from the cabin. A car is suggested as we are relatively rural, however a train to Merthyr Tydfil station and a taxi to Ponsticill will get you here! Hugely popular with cyclists we would suggest bringing your bikes ; alternatively we can arrange bike hire locally if you’d prefer.
