The Incrociata Farmhouse, built on a hill 300 mts above sea level, is the ideal destination for guests who are looking for a holiday close to nature in the quiet of the countryside. Basic items can be purchased in the small village of Pietraviva about 500 metres from the estate and in the town of Ambra, 4kms away, you will find a wide variety of shops. It is worth noticing the closeness of the area to the outstanding artistic and historical beauties of Tuscany. Florence is 60 km away, Arezzo 25 km and you can reach both of them by catching the train at the Bucine station. Siena is 35 km away and you can also visit San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Montalcino, Greve in Chianti, Cortona, the Rapolano sulphur baths (15 Km) and many other places. To reach the splendid coast-line of the Maremma will take you about an hour's drive but also the coach service is available. For those fond of shopping, "Incrociata" is just at the centre of the Valdarno fashion pole where you can find the outlets of the best known Houses, such as Prada, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Fendi, Yves Saint Laurent. At Levane turn right in the direction of Siena. You will pass the towns of Bucine , Ambra and Pietraviva. Continue on the main road past Pietraviva for approx. 100mt and you will see a sign for “Agriturismo Incrociata” on the right. Coming from the South( Roma) : from the A1 Motorway ,exit at VALDICHIANA. Follow the route to Siena joining the free motorway Siena-Bettolle ( superstrada) .Exit at COLONNA DEL GRILLO and follow the route to BUCINE. After appox. 8 km you will see on the right , a sign for “Agriturismo Incrociata”. Leave the state road; after about 100 metres, you will see a small building.
