Peaceful Penylan
Quiet neighbourhood situated around an oak tree. Private, detached and modern space newly built in 2017 . Stylish and chic interior with lovely outlook onto the stunningly landscaped garden. Easy access 100 metres to bus stop to city centre, stroll around Roath Park Lake and have a coffee on Wellfield Road. Upstairs light sunny bedroom with king size bed, easy chairs and great selection of books. Downstairs log burner, large comfy sofa, dining table and chair with basic kitchenette (fridge, sink, dishwasher and microwave) with large bifold doors opening onto private patio. The space is self contained but we live at the property and are available to answer any queries. We live on the property so will be available to meet you and give you tips about where to go in the local area. We're close to Wellfield Road / Albany Road where there are a range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. If you'd like to enjoy a stroll, we like to walk around Roath Park Lake, around the Roath Recreation ground to Joe's Ice Cream Parlour and along Waterloo Gardens to Waterloo Tea rooms. This is my favourite running route which is very peaceful first thing in the morning. If you would like to explore the city by bike you can enjoy a cycle ride along the Taff Trail through Bute Park, past the Principality Stadium and down to Cardiff Bay. Cardiff is an easy city to get around by foot, on a bike or public transport. We have a chose of bus stops on our doorstep with bus routes No. 52,53, 57 or 58 direct to the city centre (approximately 20 minutes). The buses take you directly to Cardiff central train station with good direct train links to London, Bristol, Swansea and the Midlands. If you would rather take a stroll you can walk to the city centre in 40 minutes. By car, we are easily accessible from the M4 (junction 29) and off the A48 to the east of the city (Cyncoed - Cardiff Metropolitan University exit).
