PLEASE NOTE Our cottage is in a residential area with neighbours, we expect them not to be disturbed by any noise and for guests to be considerate throughout their stay, not suitable for parties and celebrations. A modern industrial cosy cottage on the edge of the Lake District National Park in a peaceful and friendly village. We've a fully equipped kitchen, free WiFi, electric car charging point and beds and Simba beds with a waterfall shower and copper bathtub. The cottage has recently received an entire back to brick rennovation, complete with infared heating panels, hepa air filters, and has been painted with air purifying paint. You'll even find air purifying plants all over the house! Our modern industrial cottage is the perfect luxurious base for a weekend of activites. Soak in the mezzanine Copper bath or kick back and see what's on the smart TV. Guests may enjoy use of the entire home, front and back garden. We are on hand whenever you need us by phone or email. We live just half an hour away if you need a helping hand. Just 10 miles from the Lake District National Park, 2 miles from the National Trust's Acorn Bank and 6 miles from Centre Parcs, located in the shadow of the highest mountain in England outside of the Lake District, the Railway Cottage is perfectly located for access to historic market town Penrith, Kendal Calling, access to the Lake District and beyond. Neighbouring Penrith has a railway station for connections to London, Euston, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Or, if you're arriving by car the cottage is conveniently placed just off the M6 and A66 with a dedicated parking and a electric car charging point. Walking routes are abundant, you'll be spoilt for choice!
