The Barn is a beautifully converted two bedroom Grade II listed barn on the edge of Coaley, at the foot of the Cotswold Hills, 1km from the Cotswold Way. The Barn is a recently converted Grade 2 Listed barn next to Betworthy Farm house on the edge of Coaley, near Dursley. The Barn is accessed through electric gates shared with the farm house and there is space to park 2 cars outside the front door. To the rear of the barn is a stunning enclosed south facing symmetrical rose & box hedge garden, a large patio and small lawn area. There is a table and chairs on the patio from Easter to September. The downstairs is accessed through the front door into a hall with a coat cupboard and the downstairs cloakroom. The downstairs living space is open plan with lovely high ceilings and exposed beams, a sitting area with a sofa, a log burner and television, a dining table / working space and 4 chairs overlooking the garden, there is underfloor heating. The television is new and set up for you to access netflix etc by using your own account, the wifi speed for the television is fast. The well equipped kitchen has a double sink with insinkerator, Gaggenau fridge, freezer, Britannia 6 hob /twin oven range cooker, Miele dishwasher, nespresso machine, microwave, and is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery and all the necessary utensils, pots, pans, Dualit kettle and toaster as well as another television. The 2 bedrooms are both ensuite with televisions and air conditioning, one with a European size double bed and the other with 2 single beds. The bathrooms are stunning with excellent lighting and both have sinks, toilets, baths (one with a jacuzzi) and large showers. Towels and White linen are included. There is a welcome pack including shower wash, shampoo, soap, coffee, tea, milk, bread, eggs, a bottle of Wine, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and tea towels. The barn has an enclosed rose garden and patio as well as parking space by the front door. You have access to walk or drive up the drive to the barn from the electric gate. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with stunning walks and views on the doorstep and just a 2 minute stroll from the excellent pub which serves excellent food and drink, the village shop, tennis courts and the Church in Coaley. 1 km from the Cotswold Way at Coaley Peak, 1km from Cam Peak and 2km from Cam and Dursley Station as well as the supermarkets and shops in Cam and Dursley. The market towns of Dursley, Tetbury, Nailsworth and Stroud are all within 5-15 minutes drive, and further away within a 1 hour drive you can reach many of the renowned Cotswold villages and towns such as Bibury, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Bourton-on-the-Water and Bath. For the more adventurous you can access all the activities the Cotswold Water Park has to offer including waterskiing, wakeboarding, paddle boarding, horse riding, golfing, fishing and even paint balling. Cheltenham Racecourse, Westonbirt Arboretum, Cirencester Park Polo Club, Longdole Polo Club and Beaufort Polo Club are all approximately 30 minutes drive, whilst Slimbridge Wetlands & Wildfoul Trust and Berkeley Castle are within 10 minutes. There are many superb places to eat out, including The Old Fox a few minutes walk away and Calcot Manor Hotel and Spa 10 minutes drive away, these and more are detailed in my guidebook. Daily bus routes through the village and the local train station 1km away provide good public transport links. The Cotswold Way is 1km away, Coaley Peak is a good place to park to join the Cotswold Way. Bristol Airport is 1 hour drive.
