Cozy Cornish Cottage with Views

Small, bright and warm cottage on the edge of Tregony village. It has a lovely homely feel and is only 10 minutes from the coast. Enjoy a glass of wine on our sunny patio with beautiful views of the Fal Valley or, if it's winter, light a roaring log fire and play some board games. You can walk out the back garden gate and follow the river up to the woods. Our cottage comes with our little cat Stella so please make sure you are ok with that and are happy to feed her before you book! Small but comfortable home on the beautiful Roseland Peninsular, with open fireplace and a sunny patio with countryside views. Easy walk up the back lane to the village pub (which does great food), grocery store, art gallery and kids play area. The cottage has simple, shabby chic decoration. It's not a perfect, renovated holiday cottage, but a lived in home with a wonderfully deep bath tub! The cottage is spread over 3 floors with steep and narrow stairs common to old Cornish cottages but may not suit very young children. This is our home (we will be away when you are here) so it has all you need for a comfortable holiday. NO DOGS PLEASE. Access most area's except 1 bedroom and the garden shed. I won't be here but will provide you with my contact details should you need anything whilst you are here. We only rent our home when we are away. This is a lovely location with beautiful river walks right from the house and a great little village with pub and shop. This part of Cornwall is very green with woodlands, peaceful creeks and quiet coves and beaches far from the madding crowd. We are only 10 minutes drive from Portholland Beach (our favourite little spot for bbq's and swimming) and 15 mins from St Mawes where you can hire kayaks to explore the beaches and creeks. We have Cornwalls best bakery, Da Bara just a few minutes drive away and the best hot chocolate ever, with a sea view, at Tatums in Portscatho, 15 minutes away. Truro with it's shops, Cathedral and supermarkets is only 15 mins drive. Our favourite surf beach, Watergate Bay, is under 30 mins drive away. There is a regular bus service from Tregony to Truro, St Mawes and Portscatho. There are stops almost directly outsideof the cottage (down the hill a tiny bit) We are only able to make the cottage available when we are away on holiday or visiting friends and family. Our cat Stella lives on the property so its not suitable for people with allergies or if you aren't happy to feed her whilst you are there. She is very sweet and friendly!
