Bird's Studio Flat

Bird's studio flat is a beautifully decorated, unique space directly above a small family run pottery and shares its welcoming charm. The pottery and flat are set in the old coach house of the main dwelling of 'Dean Croft' this family home is just across the flag stone courtyard. Dean Croft is in the centre of the village of Littledean. This is an ideal get away for one or a couple however we would be happy to provide a put up bed for a younger visitor. The Studio Flat has everything you should need for a cosy stay. In addition to the heating there is a wood burning stove, the cute slipper bath has a shower and the small but perfectly formed kitchen has everything you should need. There is a balcony area with out door furniture and access to a lovely garden with stunning views down the valley towards the forest. Secure parking is available. Georgie is always at home or in the pottery and I am home as much as possible. We are happy to chat about what to do and where to go in and around the Forest. Also if there is something you require we will do our very best to accommodate you, please just ask. The Village has many facilities including a corner shop, two pubs, a lovely tea room, an excellent chip shop and of course the now world famous Littledean Jail. Littedean is set within the beautiful Forest of Dean, between the river Wye and the river Severn. Beside the natural beauty of places like Symonds Yat the Forest has many tourist attractions, including Clearwell Caves, Puzzlewood and the Sculpture trail. The Forest of Dean is a well established centre for outdoor pursuits such as cycling, climbing, walking and canoeing. Gloucester with its stunning cathedral and fascinating docks is 12 miles away and vibrant Bristol is 35 miles. Cheltenham racecourse is 22 miles and takes about 40 minutes to get to. We are on the 22 bus route from Gloucester to Coleford. We will be happy to advise on some excellent local walks.
