Rural tranquillity in cosy cottage

La Petite Maison in the small village of Crezieres is ideal for couples who want a peaceful retreat. It has its own private garden and off road parking. There is a shared pool with the owners who live next door and pets are most welcome. The cottage is very private with its own garden, so perfect for couple and those on their own who want a quiet holiday away from it all. The owners pool at anytime and the terrace and garden beside it. There is wifi in the house and garden. For those staying more than a week washing can be done with the owners washing machine. We spent 3 months traveling around the world and then various trips to the USA , Canada, Portugal and the Caribbean and have stayed with many different airbnb hosts. We loved meeting all the different hosts, so we know the score and are happy to interact and share our local knowledge or leave you in peace. The village of Crezieres was until 2019 one of the smallest communes in France with only 47 inhabitants. It has been awarded Village Fleurie status in Nouvelle Aquitaine and is full of wonderful flowers and other plants. There are no shops but the local goat farm sells honey and delicious golden yolked eggs. There are plenty of walks and we have 2 bikes to explore further afield. The local town of Chef Boutonne is a 10 minute drive and has 2 supermarkets, bars restaurants and a Saturday Market. The Atlantic coast is only an hour away as are the historic towns of Cognac, Angouleme, Poitiers and La Rochelle, so plenty to see when not relaxing by the pool. A car is essential. We are very happy to allow your pets to stay and the garden is fully secure so no worries about the dog escaping!
