There a two King size spacious bedrooms. Ashsprington is, perhaps surprisingly, a little-known secret in South Devon's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Thanks to this, you'll find the local area has remained just that: charmingly local! With a true village pub just next door , the famous Sharpham vineyard, Dartmoor and miles of rolling walks all on doorstep, it's a place unlike any other. Everything is ready allow guests to relax and unwind from the moment you arrive. Vineyards, shepherd’s sunsets, wild swims, & walks are all on your doorstep. The entire cottage is for the guests use. THE RIVER: With acres of and Estuary access, wild swimmers and canoeists can happily find a new adventure every day. THE VINYARD: Sharpham Wine Estate offers guests the opportunity to wine taste, eat al fresco and cycle and walk along the Dart Estuary. THE FOOD: For foodies, you're spoilt for choice. The famous Riverford Valley grows the best produce in England, which means the local food culture is exceptionally good Vegans and vegetarians will find themselves spoilt for choice in Totnes and too. Highlights include: The Pie Shop, Ben's Farm Shop and The Almond Thief Bakery for fresh bread. THE VERY LOCAL HIGHLIGHTS: For a small village, Ashprington is full of character. On your doorstep you'll find the Durant Arms pub, old St David's Church and a purpose built cycle and footpath to and from Totnes (2.5 miles) along the banks of the Dart estuary. BEYOND: If you have a car, Dartmoor and the South Devon’s beautiful beaches are yours to explore. • Totnes train station (2hrs 45 from London) - 10 mins drive or 45 minute walk. Taxi service means you need not bring a car of you wish. There is a great train service from London to Totnes, and cyclists can book your bikes on that service if you give the right notice (there is plenty of space to store bikes inside the cottage). • Dittisham - 15 mins drive. • Dartmouth, home of Nathan Outlaw's restaurant the Seahorse - 25 mins drive. The famous Riverford Farms (growers of the Riverford Veg Boxes) are right on your doorstep. So if you'd like to make the most of the incredible local produce, it's well worth ordering one of their Organic Veg box to coincide with your arrival.
