Nestled in between the old houses of Marathokampos, in the area of Agia Paraskevi (the holy friday), our lovely holiday home in which we have renovated into the most beautiful place. With a panorama view to the aegean sea, you can wake up, get out on the balcony and listen to the mountains goats follow up by a local farmer who tries to keep up with his stock while the scents of thyme and other herbs catches your nose. But the true beauty is to be found among the neighbors . Marathokampos is a town where time stands still, uniquely settled on the mountain side of Kerkis, where the only thing that seperates you from the blue water of Samos is the olive fields. Here summer months call for days by the beach, breaks in the shades under the trees and local wine at the taverna by night while you enjoy the fresh fish of the day down at the harbour of Ormors Marathokampos where kids run around and elders sit and breath the night air in that seems so friendly compared to the day. In spring and autumn the mountains calls, and here you will find fresh herbs and mushrooms while taking a break by the many springs that runs down the mountain side.
