Quirky, cosy, romantic cottage in pretty grounds

Cottage is on grounds of our 18C house with views of Snowdonia; walk to Menai Straits, Sea Zoo, Foel Farm, Plas Newydd (NT); Menai Bridge 10 mins drive; great restaurants; amazing beaches, near Llandwyn Island. Private patio next to orchard & BBQ area and use of our large garden. Good for couple or family of 4 (1 gallery bedroom above). Dogs welcome if happy for them to sleep in car but sadly no access to cottage. Kitchenette. If 2 people require separate beds, pls book for 3 (extra bedding) White-washed stone walls, new log burner, wooden bed deck (gallery with paddle-stairs access), two comfy double beds (ground floor pull-out day bed - kingsize). Open plan with separate shower room. Kitchen is a little basic, but with a microwave, single hotplate, kettle, fridge, toaster, access to slow cooker on request... PLEASE NOTE: If you are 2 people who require the use of both beds, please book for 3 people minimum to allow for the extra bed linen and making up beds etc. Thanks! There's access to a parking area within the grounds of the house, a patio and BBQ area next to the orchard outside the cottage, views across the main house's garden, access to the field beyond the orchard for general running about... We may not be there 24/7 ourselves but will have a number of people who know the cottage well on hand who live a few doors away, and we are always contactable. We'd be very happy to share information with you about the best pubs - locally and over the island (we are very familiar with some other areas of the island and Snowdonia), restaurants, the best beaches, walks, mountain routes, bike rides, access to arts centres, places to find mussels etc - as much as we know, we will share! We've been known to share the odd glass unless people are here to escape everyone! Equally, can be 'here but not here'. Within walking distance (1 mile) from the Menai Straits (where you can collect mussels) and plenty for children to do (Foel Farm, Sea Zoo and park), excellent restaurant 5 mins drive away, short drive to gorgeous Newborough forest and beach and Llandwyn Island, National Trust's Plas Newydd... You'll need a car here (or bikes) although there is a bus service from the village. It feels about once a week but I'm sure it's more! :) The cottage is set in a very relaxing space; we are a little haven behind a private wall, but within very close reach to some stunning places with more going on, should you need it.
