Beautiful Villa, Lakeview & Garden

Gorgeous villa with a spectacular view on the Lake of Como, surrounded by a large garden with olive trees. The entrance is located along the striking ancient Wanderer's Path (Sentiero del Viandante), which sprawls on the eastern shore of the Lake. The entrance, the expansive living room with fire place and the dining room face the large furnished terrace. They all offer an amazing view of the lake and unforgettable sunsets with the evening breeze. The kitchen is very ample, bright and has an independent access. It is fully furnished, with facilities such as ham slicer, microwave, coffee machine and dish washer. The night area is comprised of 3 bedrooms (the master double, a double with terrace on the lake and a triple) which can host up to 7 people. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with shower and bathtub. Right outside the main gate the Wanderer's Path allows for peaceful walks and a picturesque landscape. We will not be present during your stay in the villa, but will be reachable via telephone at all times. Furthermore, trusted people live close to the property and will be available to help you should you need any assistance. The ancient medieval village of Mandello del Lario is just a 5-minute walk away from the villa. It is possible to swim in the lake, take sailing and rowing classes, or simply rent the equipment for each person's favourite sport activity. At the village's harbour, ferries are available to easily reach Bellagio, Lecco, Varenna and all of the famous cultural and touristic places located around the Lake of Como. In Mandello del Lario you can find an open-air market every Monday, besides the two main supermarkets. The village is also famous for the legendary Moto Guzzi and the homonymous museum. Mandello del Lario is located approximately 15/20 minutes by car away from Varenna and Bellano; in one hour it is possible to visit beautiful mountain locations such as Chiavenna, Madesimo, the Swiss border and Splugen. Milan, Como and Bergamo are approximately one hour away via car or train. Since May 1, 2015, you can reach the sites Expo in about an hour by train or car.
