Sunnyside at Hill Farm is a one bedroom property, Located in a converted barn, this ground floor one bedroom apartment is finished to the highest standard with all the mod cons. The property is self contained and guests have private access to full facilities. There is private parking, along with stunning views of the Cheshire countryside. Sunnyside is situated in a court yard. Entering the property through the front door gives you private access. The property has been renovated keeping to a very high standard using a combination of reclaimed materials combined with mod cons delivering a very homely environment with character and convenience. The views are stunning and access to towns and cities are in easy reach. They say a picture is worth a thousand words so here is what you can expect to see when you arrive at Sunnyside We have nine properties all with their own dedicated parking space. We do limit free parking to just one car per property to avoid congestion however extra parking is available at a weekly cost of £35, this is in our general car park area. This must be booked in advance. If you do not have a car getting around is easy we have lovely canal walks or river walks that take you to Frodsham, Northwich or Warrington. The closest Taxi service is Frodsham 4.8 miles the cost of a Taxi is between £7 and £10. Frodsham has its own train station that can then link you to the surrounding Cities and towns. Car rental is available with a free drop off and collection service. We live on site in the main house. Hill Farm is a 150 year old ex-dairy farm which we purchased 10 years ago and spoilt with love and tender care to bring it back to life. Our house is in the court yard and we are available if home if we are not home then David our site manager would be around to look after any guests. We have an electronics business that supplies camping solutions for caravans and motorhomes to this end we spend a lot of time away from home but we too love the retreat of our lovely home as we know you will too. Hill Farm is a 150 year old ex dairy farm in Dutton, Cheshire, purchased by Chris and Colette in 2007 it has been spoilt with love and tender care over the last decade to bring it back to life and is now the ideal refuge from the pressures of your busy life. Local to Frodsham, Dutton is in the Weaver valley which is prime green belt in the heart of Cheshire’s delightful countryside. There are lovely local walks to Dutton locks and to Anderton Boat Lift where one of the seven wonders of the waterways is and Marbury Country Park is only a canal walk away. Other nearby attractions are the Lion Salt Works (a major heritage centre, 7 miles away), Delamere Forest (8 miles away) , the Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet (14 miles away) and the Jodrell Bank Observatory (19 miles away). Chester is but 18 miles away or a short train journey from nearby Frodsham station, it’s 22 miles to Liverpool or 25 to Manchester, 50 miles to the Lakes and 50 to Llangollen in North Wales. Good local food includes the Tunnel Top pub just down the road or the nearby Horns Inn and the Riverside Inn at Acton Bridge is always popular with its great deal on two for one meals. We live on site in the main house so we are available if you need us when home and if we are not home then Mike (Grandad) will usually be around to look after our two boys and any guests. Our family business Falcon Technology, which supplies electronics solutions for caravans and motorhomes is also based on the farm but is segregated away from the living accommodation so won’t disturb you. Just so know, we have four Chocolate Labradors but they also have their own house and garden, all secured. They are very friendly and very fond of treats but please do not feed them as they are on a permanent diet. A Taxi to Frodsham is about £7 then at Frodsham there are trains and busses networking you around the Northwest. Private parking for one car is included in the price; additional parking is available £35 per week. Please book before arrival. Thank you. We have electric gates on the entrance which you will be given the gate code when you book. The Gates auto detect vehicles leaving and open alternatively there is a button to exit for pedestrians. CCTV cameras are on the gates and on the car park areas. We want you to be safe during your stay and the cottage is equipped with smoke detectors, a first aid kit and fire extinguisher. Please check the info folder on arrival to make yourself familiar with their locations. A laundry is just 15 meters away from the cottage where washing machines, dryers Ironing board etc. are all available. Internet wifi from our ADSL line is FREE and unlimited and is ok for basic on line activity. For those wanting more band width we also do have boosted 4G internet routers available which operate on a data sim card. There is no rental charge on the hard ware but you will be responsible for maintaining the data cost. The monthly cost of unlimited data is £35. Please advise us prior to arrival if you require the boosted 4G system so we can set up ready for you. Delivery from supermarkets is possible, so if you wish to order most of the supermarkets that do delivery will deliver to Hill Farm. Fuel Station & convenience store is 1.5 miles out of our gates and left Closest supermarket is 3 miles away ASDA and ALDI Frodsham is our closet town 4.8 miles from us a taxi service or a river walk away If you have visitor’s no more than one extra car per time and no more than 2 hours free parking is available in our general car park area. Please refrain from allowing your visitors to park in other dedicated parking space for other guest’s.
