Welsh Country Cottage - Perfect Country Retreat

Looking for the ultimate staycation, we are just outside Abergavenny, ideally located. We are new to hosting, but have travelled with AirBNB for many years, now its time to open our home to others. If you want that perfect country home this is what we have, friends love to come here as you feel relaxed straight away. For the more action minded we are in the perfect location for Horse Riding, Mountain Biking and lots of Walking. We also have some great places to eat only a short drive away. I fell in love with this places the first time I visited, ultimately buying the house a few months later. If you like the outdoors, but don't want to be too far away from everything, this is for you. If you like Walking, Cycling, Horse Riding or just being outdoors there are lots of choices on your doorstep. Inside we have a log burner in the kitchen and a nice wood fire in the lounge, perfect for those cosy evenings when you return. We grant FULL access to our home, as we trust guests to respect and treat as if it was their own home. We even have a nice Gas BBQ outside to cook on if you wish. When you are using my home I will generally not be too far away and accessible by phone, but I aim to give you the privacy I would hope for at a retreat like this. We will always be accessible to help with information / suggestions of things to do, places to eat etc. We are just outside the small village of Llanvihangel Crucorney, home the The Skirrid Pub which is the oldest pub in Wales. The train station is about 5 miles away, taxis are reasonable but if you are aiming to explore the area a car is a good idea. You have see pictures of the main garden, but you will also find our "secret garden" at the top, we have recently built this as the perfect chill out zone with a fire pit its the perfect place to watch the sun go down. We are currently re-freshing the interior with a coat of paint so some dates may not be available but should be all done by the end of May then we will add some internal pictures.
