Lakeview Casa Alecrim with rooftop terrace

This original Vale da Telha villa is situated in a quiet area of Aljezur right next to the lake and includes a large private yard. There are various seating areas in the garden including a fabulous rooftop terrace with fantastic views of the lake and the valley. The Living room offers a great fireplace and a Smart TV. The two local west coast beaches of Arrifana and Monte Clerigo are just a 5 minute drive. You find us named casa alecrim aljezur. This recently renovated eighties villa is situated on a quiet street of Vale da Telha with great views of the lake and valley. The house is split over two levels with the main home on the top level. In the lower level there is a garage and a basement you will not have access to. You will find two separte bedrooms (140cm bedsize) and a large living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. The entrance opens to the living area with the kitchen on the right, and the hallway to the bedrooms on the left. The kitchen is well equipped with a pleasant balcony, perfect for breakfast as it is east facing, filled with morning sun. The living room has a central fireplace and is equipped with a modern 40" smart TV. The garden is located on a hill. There are various seating and dining areas including a fabulous rooftop terrace with fantastic views. We planted different kinds of fruit trees. The house is split over two levels, the upper level is the rented living area, the lower is a basement, that’s used by us and our family. Sometimes somebody from us might live there (never in summer), please ask before booking if there might be somebody else around. There are two separate entrances and outside areas, full privacy anyhow. This house was „sleeping“ the last couple years and we would like to bring it back to life with you (our guests), some friends and family. We are a young family and have started this project in erly 2019, so we are very grateful for your honest suggestions for improvement. It's an original eighties villa, built when this urbanizacao was founded. We are very proud to say that we did renovate the whole place with our friends and tried to give our best with lots of love. Vale da Telha is a quiet urbanizacao of Aljezur, it is an area where mostly local people live. The lake can easily be reached by foot which is a favourite for local dog walkers with a great running trail. It is great for a little refreshing swim after a day at the beach or hiking. The roundabout in Vale da Telha with nice restaurants and a local convenience store is just a short walk away. The two local west coast beaches of Arrifana and Monte Clerigo are just a 5 minute drive away, also easely reached by bicycle. Aljezur oldtown with it's castle, restaurants and cafes is always worth a visit. Aljezur is a municipality and small town at the Aljezur river, situated in the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina, the large natural park at the western coast of the Algarve. This area represents the untouched Algarve, an area of beautiful natural landscapes with some of the best beaches in Portugal. We recommend renting a car to see and reach all the natural beauty of Costa Vicentina. Nevertheless, there is a bus running south to Lagos and north to Lisbon from Aljezur (there is a Taxistand) For really young guests, there is a Baby bed / cot (please bring your own small light blanket for infants, since the blanket and pillow are rather for children). We also have a Baby / Children chair that can be transformed for ages 6 months to 10 years. The AC / heating in the small bedroom is out of order, but there is a radiator. FAQ Frequently asked questions: 1. Is there a coffeemaker availible? -> We have an automatic espresso Maschine like this one: Máquina de Café Automática IKOHS Cmac3045Gs. Also there is an small italian espressomaker for the stove. 2. Is there a microwave? ->No there is no microwave at the moment. 3. Is there a BBQ area or an outside grill ready for use? -> there is only a small portable outside barbecue grill 4. Will there be anybody else on the property except the guests? -> in summer/high season you usually do have the whole property all by yourself, for the rest of the year it’s possible that we or my mom might live at an separate apartment. More details are mentioned at the description. 5. Is there Wifi interent and how fast is it? -> there is Internet via wi-fi. It is: MEO Cable, last speedcheck showed: 14.03 Mbps dowload, 1.26 Mbps upload 6. Is there a washingmachine? -> there is a washingmachine and a dryer for your use in the living area.
