The Estate’s accommodation features three separate buildings, The Homestead, The Lodge and The Barn, all of which are a short stroll from each other through the gardens. All three spaces have been magnificently restored and enhanced. Guests will enjoy exclusive use of up to 15 luxurious bedroom suites designed to accommodate up to 34 guests over 3 houses in comfort and style. Kalinya Estate has room for large groups and is a private, venue with only one group at a time. We do not take bookings for weddings or events through Airbnb, please contact us directly for details. Enjoy a game on the Tennis court or a dip in the 17m heated swimming pool (heated from October 1st through to April 30th; closed in cooler months). Have a drink and a chat in the stunning pool house. Tire out the kids on the trampoline, swing set and large outdoor chessboard. Chooks and quail wander the property. Our ducks and geese enjoy visits at the dam or pond. Explore the 6 acres of established award winning gardens. Use of the Kalinya Gym, Squash Court and Games centre for guests staying in the accommodation (weights bench, exercise bikes, treadmill, elliptical trainer and rowing machine), Squash Court (racquets, eye protection and balls) and Indoor Games Centre (Billiard Table, Air Hockey, Table Tennis, Foosball, and Vintage arcade machine). Complimentary use of the Piano/Sports Lounge throughout your stay. Complimentary daytime or evening movie session in the Kalinya Gold Class Cinema/Lecture Theatre (subject to availability and opening hours; terms and conditions apply). When you book to stay at Kalinya Estate, you will have exclusive use of the 6 acres and the properties facilities- pool, tennis court, swings, trampoline, chess and games. Kalinya Estate only books exclusively 1 group at a time. The property is maintained and monitored by the owners and some grounds staff, who you may see during your stay. Staff or the owners will be available in person or on the phone to provide help during your stay. Kalinya Gardens is located in the village of Bargo in the Wollondilly Shire- The gateway to the Southern Highlands. The Wollondilly neighbourhood is a beautiful scenic rural area. Lots of large properties, farms and undisturbed Australian bushland. The area is still full of honest country people who delight in having visitors come to enjoy their unique villages. Kalinya Estate is ideally located just 2.1kms from the M31 Hume Motorway. A 60 minute drive from Sydney CBD, and 10-30 minutes to Mittagong, Bowral and Berimma. 1 minutes to the local shops, train station and pub. NOTE- We do not arrange events through Airbnb. We only arrange events/celebrations/ weddings or corporate retreats through our website. You will need to discuss and get approval from us in advance, as fees for additional visitors/day guests do apply. There is an unfenced dam and pond on the Kalinya Estate grounds. Guests are responsible for the safety of any children that are brought onto the property.
