Welcome to Cedar Ridge, our private hassle-free home stay. We are located a comfortable two and a half hours drive south west from Perth in Western Australia and our local township of Donnybrook is only eight kilometers away. Our tranquil, private retreat is situated on five acres with spacious grassed areas and spectacular rose gardens. With an abundance of birdlife and frequent visits at sunset by our resident kangaroos. Our place offers the perfect setting for a late afternoon glass of wine or your favorite tipple. We are ideally suited for couples wishing to get away and experience all our region has to offer, as well as the business traveler who needs a comfortable bed, a hearty breakfast and somewhere to work. There are countless opportunities to discover our beautiful South West. Closer to home is the Preston River which flows through our extensive orchard lands and a little further afield is the world renowned Margaret River Wine Region which has become a foodie’s paradise. The drive between Yallingup and Augusta provides breathtaking views of the coastline with suitable swimming beaches and also caves to explore. Having lived in the area for over fifteen years, we are happy to share our local knowledge and guide you to some amazingly unforgettable places, just off the beaten track. Features of our fully self-contained accommodation are: We are ideally suited to couples wishing to explore Two bedrooms with queen size beds, pillows and linen, electric blankets for winter and ceiling fans for summer. Full en-suite bathroom with toiletries and a separate toilet in the laundry. Fully equipped kitchen with cooktop, oven, microwave and basic supplies. Reverse cycle air conditioning. Television, DVD player, and WiFi. Laundry with washing machine. Private wrap-around verandah with outdoor setting and gas BBQ. Stroll around the 5 acres and enjoy the lawn area at your back door Tina and Ian enjoy interacting with guests and are available most times for any assistance or information. This interaction is as much or as little as you choose. Apple Fun park for all ages, Bakeries, local wineries, walks around the Preston River. No public transport to or from the location. We have 1 friendly Labradors, Diesel who is very social and loves a cuddle. Chooks and ducks who supply us with our fresh eggs daily.
