Karibuni:-) My house is perfect for couples or good friends who wants to enjoy good times together, who appreciate their privacy and want to have the feeling of home while living in paradise. Also, as the best part, the house is located only few minuets from the most popular beach in Zanzibar, Kendwa beach. Please read below for more information about the house and the area. You're welcome to contact us if you have any questions! We will answer you as quickly as possible :-) I’m a Kendwa resident renting out my home for guests to enjoy on their travels. My house is very cozy, clean, livable and has everything you need as you can see in the pictures. The place consists of a small entrance, kitchen-dining room, 1 big bedroom and 1 bathroom. The kitchen is provided with cooking equipment, a juice maker, a kettle, a stove, and a refrigerator to keep you food and drinks cold. There is hot water. Due to the coronavirus, we are carefully disinfecting the surfaces that are touched most frequently between reservations. You will have sole access to the house during your stay. As a host I’m outgoing and helpful. I enjoy having guests, but I also respect people’s need of privacy. You will have the entire house for yourself, while I will stay in another building on the same land. I will be there when you arrive to make sure you get settled in the house and I will be more than happy to show you around Kendwa if you like. If you need anything or have any questions during your stay, I will be available and ready to help. The best part of staying in Jondweni Guest House is defiantly the location. If you go to the road and turn left, you only walk 2 minutes and you’ll be at the beach. If you turn right, you walk 3 minutes and you enter the small popular street of restaurants like La fontana, Gold hotel and the Fisherman restaurant. There is also local shops where you can buy groceries, fresh fruit, a bottle of wine, local street food and much more. Furthermore, it only takes 10 minutes to reach popular places like Kendwa Rocks hotel, which is known for their full moon parties, and Sunset hotel, which has a cozy beach bar, lounge area and volleyball net. These are perfect places to enjoy a fun and relaxing beach day. Also, when you’re living next to kendwa beach you never have to worry about the tide. You will always find water at the beach in the north area of Zanzibar. The neighborhood has friendly locals who will greet you as you cross paths. Also, I have lived alongside my immediate neighbors for many years and we all look out for each other. Many things are within walking distance, as mentioned above. The house is located just of the road that connects Nungwi road to the beach in Kendwa. It is very easy to get around Kendwa and surrounding areas. Depending on your budget or your preference you find taxies or boda boda (motorcycle taxies) nearby the house. Also, you will find the dala dala (the bus) right on Nungwi road that can bring you to stone town. As I have lived in Zanzibar my whole life (except for a few years in Norway) I have a wide network of reliable contacts in the tourism industry. So if you’re interested I can help you arrange snorkelling tours, diving tours, spice tours and tours to Stown Town.
