Welcome to Casa da Loja, a fenced and exclusive property for just one Family or Group without other guests. House Museum in a historic property in the Douro, in the Bestança River Valley. - 3 bedrooms: 2 with double bed; one with 2 double beds and 2 single sofa beds. - 2 WCs - Dining/living room with sofas, TV with box and fireplace. - Internet-wifi - Kitchen. - Swimming pool with mineral water. - Outdoor spaces with grill, hammock, solarium, lawn, organic vegetable garden and privileged view. Casa da Loja is a restored dwelling on a secular historic property, located in a charming village in the beautiful Vale do Bestança, a tributary of the Douro. The property is fenced and has only two houses, that of the owners and another for the guests. The house is only rented to one entity - family or friends - there are no other guests on the property. Casa da Loja is composed of a manor house, in which stands out the old Loja, once the commercial center of the Municipality of Cinfães, a wine press and wine cellar and other traditional buildings of an authentic vineyard family property. This elevated property offers a privileged landscape and privacy. In the surroundings, the Bestança River, one of the cleanest in Europe and habitat for Otters and trout, is crossed by the magnificent Covelas Bridge. The idyllic walking routes take us on a journey in communion with nature. From a relaxed hiker to a daring "Geocacher" or a mountain bike practitioner, the region offers fabulous experiences for all tastes, with marked and marked trails, as well as basic assistance points for bicycles. All of these elements make our space a perfect place for both the couple looking for a romantic getaway and for larger families or groups of friends who want to enjoy the pure air and calm mountain environments. The access to the entrance to the walled property is made from the parking place, going up on foot about 25 meters along a Roman-style cobbled path. After entering the gate, we find ourselves in the Guest space - upper level. Access to the pool, solarium / terrace and lawn is made by stairs, going down a level. In these spaces there are sunbeds and relax chairs. Guests can enjoy different spaces on the large property. The mineral water pool, created from the original granite tank, has two parts, one about 0,70 m deep and the other about 1,50 m. From the terrace of the House you can enjoy the landscape, lie in a hammock outside to relax as well as enjoy other spaces where you can sunbathe. The kitchen is well equipped (without a dishwasher machine). In the comfortable rooms you will sleep peacefully in an idyllic environment of tranquility in the landscapes of the Douro Mountains. All the organization of the stay will be carried out during the check-in or in contact prior to the stay. Hosts will be contactable. Small quiet village at the end of the road. Alternatively, you can travel by train to Mosteirô Station - Douro Line from Campanhã-Porto - and taking a Taxi to the property (+/- 10mins) - service available on site. The “Casa da Loja” is located approximately 80 km from the city of Porto (Porto Airport). The village of Cinfães is about 15 minutes away. (Supermarkets; Restaurants / Bars; Pastries / Bakeries; Drugstores; Hospital / Health Center; Pharmacies…) The “Passadiços do Paiva” about 35 km. The “Caldas de Aregos” thermal baths are about 15 km away. Lamego and Régua at about 50Km. Supermarkets / Minimercados: "Desamparados" about 5 km. "Oliveira do Douro" at about 8km. "Ferreiros de Tendais" at about 5Km Vegetables and Fruits: "Ferreiros de Tendais" at about 5 km (greenhouses next to the Church) The house, the pool, the lawn and the spaces are not shared by other guests The bedrooms are located over the living room and are accessed via stairs. The rooms have bed linen and bath towels. The pool is born from the original Roman-style granite tank with drinking mineral water. There is a grill outside (this grill can be used as an oven). There is a terrace / solarium that at night becomes a Observatory of stars. There is a vegetable garden in the house that is the exclusive use and access of the owners There are electric heaters and fans available in the house. Guests should use the pool with due care, at their own risk. All children must always be accompanied by adults when they are in the pool. There are pool towels. “Casa da Loja” was one of the first Tourism Houses in the Municipality of Cinfães to obtain the “Clean & Safe” seal of Turismo de Portugal in line with the protection of our customers against the pandemic of COVID-19.
