Through the louver windows in your room you can see our lush tropical garden and our pool. Your Darwin style outdoor kitchen is just around the corner and exclusively for your use. Your own fully equipped bathroom is just outside the bedroom. Our home is a typical Darwin style elevated house - you live downstairs while our family lives upstairs. Enjoy the lush tropical garden, read a book or just relax, and jump into our spacious pool - a daytime cool down or nighttime dip under the stars. We have lots of local information, maps, points of interest and current events as well as our favourite hangouts and day trips etc. and will happily answer any questions you may have. - Enjoy the proximity to stunning beaches that you get almost to yourself as well as the local beach cafe with bean bags and hammocks. - Several of Darwin's famous markets are only a short drive away. Buy your tropical fruit and veg, get some Darwin style summer outfits, purchase some Aboriginal art and craft and try the many different flavoured cuisines multicultural Darwin has to offer - A waterpark that is free of charge is only minutes away. - Cycle to the beach and follow the bike path to the picturesque nightcliff foreshore or for a bit of a challenge all the way into town. We are close to shopping (3 min drive/15 min walk to Darwin's biggest shopping centre) and close to Lee Point and Casuarina Beach (5 min drive/15 min bike ride). Darwin airport is a 10min drive. Darwin CBD is a 20min drive. There is a bus stop around the corner which brings you to the Shopping Centre (or just walk which is quicker) and from there straight into the city. We have two trekking bikes for hire, 10$ a day, 40$ a week or $80 for a month per bike. Our home is child-friendly and we are looking forward to sharing our home, garden and pool with other families. We have a friendly family dog, that will welcome you but otherwise leave you alone (unless you want to play fetch :-).
