It is very safe and many of our guests have gone for a midnight walk :) There are a couple of lakes very nearby and it also offers very scenic views. The homestay is very easy to find and it is by the side of the main road itself. You can go for a plantation walk in the morning when all the birds are chirping and if you are lucky, you can even spot a peacock :)
