Situated on 5 acres containing lush landscaped gardens, wildlife filled rainforest and a beautiful shady Billabong. This accomodation we refer to as a 'Shouse' - Shed House is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful relaxing stay. Take a walk through the trees, try some local grown produce or enjoy the abundant local attractions. 15 mins drive to Airlie Beach and max 20 min drive to 3 local boat ramps. Ample room to store and clean your boat and loads of space for the Fur Kids to run and play. You will be located behind our main house with your own private entrance and sitting area overlooking the trees and Billabong. The Shouse is fully self contained with glass sliding doors to section the living room from the bedroom. We offer a comfy Queen bed, a second fold out sofa and full laundry facilities. Your own private fire-pit welcomes you to sizzle a steak or enjoy a sunset beverage. The dog friendly enclosure offers security to your fur baby during your stay. We own 2 small dogs. You have your own under cover parking space. We both work part time and will make ourselves available to you as often as you need. At times we request flexibility with check in times - this will be prearranged prior to your stay. We do respect your privacy and want for your stay to be peaceful. Steve is great with the local tourist information and he is happy to share a few of his fishing hot spots. The Whitsundays offer a range of National Park walking tracks, local attractions, Island tripping, boat/fishing charters and cruises. Secluded beaches, waterfalls and exceptional beachfront dining. Rural property, approx. 8-10 mins drive to Airlie Beach. Public transport not available. Guests will require a vehicle to see the local sites. Approximately a $50-$60 taxi fare to Airlie Beach.
