Set amongst quintessential country, picturesque villages and an easy 35-minute drive from Brisbane, this unique cottage will meet all your expectations and more. Ideally perched high on a hill, amongst 70+ acres of natural bushland and elevated to take advantage of the incredible view, guests are guaranteed a magical stay. Architectural features include an abundance of glass to capture the breathtaking view from every room. An opulent ensuite, bathed in natural light from the large, double-hung windows and skylight overhead, that includes a deluxe freestanding bath for serial soakers, a double walk-in shower, and floating vanity with stone top and storage. An open plan kitchen, dining, living area that seamlessly flows on to a spacious, covered, alfresco area which faces the D’Aguilar Range; the perfect spot to witness the brilliant colours of the evening sky whilst enjoying pre-dinner drinks. The deck was specifically engineered to incorporate the 2-person heated, outdoor spa, essential for tired bodies. Take a step out of the spa and retreat into the master bedroom which features a luxe king bed, floating bedside tables/desk, full length mirror and large built-in-robe with more than ample storage. The feature privacy wall and floor-to-ceiling chiffon drapes complete a picture of elegance and peacefulness. We also host a second cottage on the property that can accommodate up to four guests which may be convenient to you if traveling with family or friends. Guests can access common areas which include the car park, the bbq area and the expansive, green, grassy knoll outside their cottage and also enjoy several walking tracks. We recommend not packing the good white sneakers as we have red soil! We offer a simple self check-in process however, we do reside on the property (out of sight from the cottage) and can assist with queries or in an emergency. If arriving late, there is sensor lighting around the accommodation, car park and at your front door. A short eight-minute drive away is our local Samford Village. The village amenities include a local shopping centre, historic pub and museum, tourist information, antique and boutique shops, award-winning restaurants, cafes, numerous outdoor dining options, spacious parkland and other general amenities. Beyond Samford, national parks, nature walks, wineries, art galleries and long winding roads are indicative of this region. If you love the great outdoors there is much to see and do.
