A beautiful guest house set on 10 acres of parklands. Enjoy a stroll in our gardens and see our working farm. We have sheep, chickens, a rabbit, dog and cat. Enjoy dining indoors or on your private terrace outside. Fridge, microwave and toaster available for preparing simple meals. Continental breakfast using local produce is provided along with tea/coffee. For stays of one week or longer, where a discount is given, we provide some breakfast basics, the rest is up to you. The guesthouse is modern, warm and light. It's attached to the main house but has it's own entrance and private terrace. Lovely queen bed with fine bedding that is dry-cleaned after every guest. Coffee and a selection of teas is available along with local breakfast provisions. Our private guest house has it's own entrance as well as sliding doors to your private outdoor terrace. You have full, private access to the guesthouse. You are welcome to wander around our garden. Your host and hostess are a middle aged couple (with two teenage boys) who are usually home and are available. We look forward to meeting you and sharing local knowledge if asked, we respect your right to privacy at all times. Quiet, rural, tree lined street for walking or walk around our property. You are welcome to use one of our boats on our large pond. 5 mins drive to Kaiapoi with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and other facilities. 15 mins drive from Christchurch International Airport.
