On the hillside of the beautiful medieval village of Panicale, in the middle of olive trees and vines in an oasis of peace, you will find our luxuriously converted medieval farmhouse with beautiful swimming pool. “La Piaggiola Degli Olivi” is an eighteenth-century country house with a graceful swimming pool. The two 10 persons apartments are open throughout the whole year. Each apartment has 3 bedrooms of which two with four beds (a double bed and a bunk bed) and one bed room with a double bed, two bathrooms, a living kitchen (with an extra good sleeping two person sleeper sofa) and a terrace where you can enjoy beautiful extensive views of the surrounding countryside around Lake Trasimeno and of course Lake Trasimeno itself. This is a little medieval village 431 m high, surrounded by rolling hills with olive trees and vineyards. Included in the price are: fresh linen and towels, use of swimming pool, children playground, carpark, dog bench, fresh vegetables from the garden, fresh fruits from the trees, cleaning and a real italian evening with an Italian dinner. The agriturismo is a converted Umbrian farmhouse into two apartments on the upper floor and two apartments on the ground floor. Both apartments can be combined into one large apartment for 10 people on the ground floor. This also applies to the two apartments on the first floor. We are open the whole year! Follow direction Perugia. After approximately 15 minutes you take the junction Castiglione del Lago. Below the exit turn left, direction Castiglione del Lago. Follow the way completely through the village Castiglione del Lago without turning right or left. After Castiglione keep on driving five minutes and take the junction Paciano/Panicale. Below the junction turn left under the motorway. Then take the first junction right direction Panicale. You come in the village Colgiordano. Drive entirely through this village until you see on the left hand side a petrol station. After this petrol station you take the first junction left, direction Le Mura. Drive through this tiny small village over the hill and you see the Agriturismo on you right hand site. Please note: take the second entry right under the hillock. Through the fence take the right lain to the top parking place and you arrive at Piaggiola Degli Olivi. If you come from Rome: Of the motorway A1 Rome direction Florence, you take junction Chuisi-Chianciano (2 hours beyond Rome). Follow direction Chuisi/Perugia, go to the left. After approximately 15 minutes you pass Chuisi and keep on following Perugia/Castiglione del Lago passing the village of Moiano. (Do not take the junction of Paciano which is first, but keep going to the junction of Paciano/Panicale). Keep on driving ten minutes and take the junction Paciano/Panicale. Below the junction turn left under the motorway. Then take the first junction right direction Panicale. You come in the village Colgiordano. Drive entirely through this village until you see on the left hand side a petrol station. After this petrol station you take the first junction left, direction Le Mura. Drive through this tiny small village over the hill and you see the Agriturismo on you right hand site. Please note: take the second entry right under the hillock. This is billed separately. This isn't much, but it depends on how much you use. Fresh fruits and vegetables depend on the season. Ask the owners Mirella and Duilio what you want. Vegetables (verdure) and fruit (frutte) of the season are limited, because in an agriturismo these products come from the orchard and the own vegetable garden. Eggs (Uova) are available all year round. As for the laundry you can use the washing machine and if necessary the dryer. Report that to Mirella and she will turn on the machines for use.
