1860's Traditional Coastguard Cottage

This 1860 Georgian four bedroom period holiday home accommodates up to 8 guests in a home from home atmosphere with lots of creature comforts provided for a really enjoyable holiday or break. Sorry no pets allowed at the property. Our local beach is a merely a 10 min walk through the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. The walk to the River Rother is less than 5 minutes walk and is perfect for crab fishing. Please note that the actual postcode is in incorrect on some satellite maps and is TN31 7TS. Parking for 2- 3 cars plus charge point for electric vehicles (type 2 and 3 pin) For visitors with pushchairs and/or guests with mobility impairment there is a ramp giving access to the front of the house only, please note the property does not have step free access. Accommodation is - centrally heated, the entrance porch/coat room, leads to: Spacious sitting room with open fire and one small bag of logs provided, TV with Digital/ Freeview with surround sound stereo, and DVD player. Kitchen: Fully equipped with double electric range ovens with ceramic top, washing machine, condenser tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. Dining area: with extendable dining table to seat a maximum of 8 plus a high chair, Hallway: with small downstairs WC and basin, leading upstairs to: Master bedroom: Very high 4 poster canopied double bed, with wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2: with twin single beds, with chest of drawers and wardrobe. Bathroom: with electric shower over bath. basin and WC Down the hallway to: Bedroom 3: dual aspect room with high rise bunk bed and low single bed, tallboy and chest of drawers. Bedroom 4: dual aspect room with double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe (hairdryer provided). All bedding (hypoallergenic) is provided unless you prefer to bring your own. Enclosed gardens to the side (children's play area with garden toys) and back garden of the house with decked and gravelled area with patio furniture and BBQ Bacon and eggs provided for your first morning of your stay.
