New Lodge is a stunning holiday destination with several leisure facilities on site plus it’s surrounded by stunning Highland scenery which you’ll be able to enjoy from most of the rooms! This wonderful rural retreat is perfect for large family gatherings, reunions or even special celebrations for up to 18 guests. With its exceptional light & spacious interior, plus leisure facilities that include a separate Ceilidh Barn equipped with a wood burner, snooker and pool tables, table tennis, roulette, table football, a large TV, a kitchen area with fridge & a separate toilet, not to mention 2 outdoor patios with furniture and a BBQ, there are also 2 all-weather tennis courts, so this house is simply perfect for relaxing, fun nights in or using as a base to tour the West Coast and NC500. Situated a mile from the edge of the beautiful Loch Carron, the house has been designed with meticulous attention to detail to enjoy the panoramic views. With the stylish furnishings, décor and spacious rooms this lodge guarantees you a very memorable holiday. Catering and housekeeping can also be arranged while you’re staying. Salmon fishing can be arranged on the River Carron which is beside the house too. There are 7 beautiful bedrooms, all with TV’s and 8 bathrooms (6 en-suite). There is underfloor heating downstairs using a ground source heat pump system so it is very cosy. On entering the Lodge, you will find 2 stunning lounges with plenty comfortable seating, a traditional wood burner, wet bar and 180° windows with marvellous views. There is WIFI, home cinema surround sound with Sky HD, TVs in all bedrooms and in the kitchen, 2 DVD players (one in the barn) and Sonos sound system throughout the ground floor. An elegant dining room enhances any celebration after meals are prepared in the fabulous kitchen which features a 5 oven AGA, gas hob, American-style fridge/freezer, a larder fridge, wine fridge, microwave, 2 dishwashers, and is well supplied with glassware, crockery and kitchen gadgets (including bread maker, ice-cream maker, blenders and food processors). A farmhouse-style kitchen table is perfect for breakfasts and informal meals. Downstairs there is also a Utility room with washing machine and dryer, a boot room, two entrance halls and one cosy Twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Two sets of staircases lead to the first floor. The main staircase leads to 3 en-suite super king-size bedrooms (two with bathrooms, one with a shower room), 2 twin rooms each with a set of bunks (one with an en-suite shower room), and a family bathroom. A separate staircase leads to a king-size room with an en-suite shower room. Can you imagine a game of tennis or table tennis in the barn, maybe a wander up the river then relaxing in the lodge to admire the views whilst watching the deer come into the paddocks of an evening? This beautiful rural home houses up to 18 guests in 7 bedrooms each with their own TV. There are 4 super king-size bedrooms and 3 twin rooms each with a set of bunks. The home has 8 bathrooms, 6 of which are en-suite. There are two sitting areas each with wood burner, wet bar and 180 degree windows with stunning views. The kitchen is fitted with an oven, fridge/freezer, wine fridge, larder fridge, microwave, dishwashers. It also has many modern appliances like a bread maker, ice-cream maker, blenders and food processors. The house has WIFI, Sonos sound system and home cinema surround sound with Sky HD. There is also a bootroom and utility room fitted with a washing machine and dryer, located on the ground floor. In a barn seperate to the main property is equipped with a snooker and pool tables, table tennis, roulette, table football, a large TV, a kitchen area with fridge & a separate toilet, not to mention 2 outdoor patios with furniture and a BBQ. Also on the property there is two all-weather tennis courts. You will access to the whole property throughout the duration of your stay. You will be given the contact details of the people looking after you with the arrival information before your stay. Local attractions include the sublime Attadale Gardens (3 miles), Rassal Wood (10.5 miles) and the pretty village of Lochcarron (4 miles) on the loch's northern shore. Lochcarron has a choice of shops, bistros and a pub, as well as a nine-hole golf course. It's also home to the Kyle Line, one of the world's most scenic rail routes. The nearby village of Plockton (15 miles) is a picturesque jewel set in a sheltered Loch Carron bay and surrounded by a hilly landscape. It has a delightful harbour and a beach with palm trees, pleasure boats and Highland cattle. There's a range of great places to eat and drink, and activities include cycling, kayaking, fishing trips and seal spotting. For more, you could go climbing, hill walking, sailing, golf, watersports, angling and birdwatching, or simply enjoy some of the wonderful local pubs and restaurants. You will need a car.
