Sorry, but we are unable to host people who have to self-isolate. Beautiful quiet "tiny house" garden retreat with mezzanine sleeping loft; very simple but warm and cosy. Carpeted, insulated and double glazed. Sleeps two upstairs on two single mattresses. You need to be agile enough to climb the ladder to the sleeping loft. Own shower and toilet a few metres from the cabin. Heater, kettle, fridge,microwave, toaster and basin in cabin. Wifi. Simple breakfast ingredients and hot drinks provided. Upstairs beds - two comfortable single mattresses. Please note that to get upstairs you need to climb a ladder and that you can't stand up straight upstairs in the sleeping loft. All beds are at floor level. All bed linen 100% cotton. All cleaning products environment and skin friendly. There is a private bathroom for the cabin with a toilet, hot shower and basin. It is located about 6 metres away from the cabin i.e. short outside walk in the garden (see photos). Guests welcome to use garden for relaxing, playing, eating. Washing machine available by arrangement. Someone usually around if required. Friendly attractive semi-rural neighbourhood with easy access to SH2, Lower Hutt town and Wellington. 20 minutes drive to ferry. 45 minutes drive to airport. Local walks into bush or Belmont Regional Park which also has good cycle tracks. Bus to Lower Hutt and Melling Railway station. Walk to Lower Hutt about 45 minutes. Buses and trains from Lower Hutt to Wellington and airport. Really need a car or bicycle in this area. Great local cycle tracks for keen off-road cyclists. Children welcome.
