The house offers the rare combination of being within walking distance to nearby town centres, coastal areas and a DART station where you can catch a train to be in the heart of Dublin within 20 minutes, its also on major bus routes, all while feeling like a secluded luxurious hideaway. Upon arrival you’ll first walk up the outdoor Mediterranean style cobbled steps and bannisters to reveal the beautiful front landscaping composed of Asian palms, bamboos and statues. The naturally, double aspect, well-lit living room has a large fireplace for romantic blazing fires on cool evenings and is decorated with an eclectic mix of French Renaissance, modern Italian, retro designer and rustic Mexican pieces of furniture. The spacious kitchen is well stocked with modern appliances including a Lavazza Italian espresso pod coffee maker and the dining area next to it has a beautiful retro Phillip Starck dining table which comfortably seats 6 guests. The home is beautifully lit throughout with lots of ambiant lighting, lamps, dimmable chandiers (mostly antique). We have also left candles out for you to further create a cozy atmosphere! There are three beautifully decorated bedrooms furnished with Art Decco and Victorian bedside lockers, dressing tables and a gentlemen’s wardrobe. All the bed linens are eqyptian cotton, with a variety of pillow types to suit everyone! The main bedroom has a beautiful ensuite bathroom and French doors leading out to it’s hidden side patio where two can sit to quietly enjoy a morning coffee or early evening glass of wine. The main bathroom is gorgeously decorated with gold fittings, french tiles and a large double sunken bath tub. The secluded back garden is a hidden sun trap featuring a mix of unusual Asian landscaping and statues, a loungy feel outdoor patio with a chiminea to gather round and a comfortable swing chair under the Japanese maple to read a good book or just enjoy the garden.
