Studio with Queen & sofa bed & ensuite -sleeps 4 (at no extra cost) Free off street parking in a quiet / safe neighbourhood. Ideal for Seacliff & Brighton Beaches, Glenelg & FMC - 10 min drive. We're at the top of a hill, having a car helps. 10 min walk to Marino train station for CBD 25 mins (Fringe, The Oval). 10 mins (Marion Aquatic Centre). McLaren Vale & Adelaide Hills within 30 min drive. Nicely positioned for the Australian Masters judo, bowls, squash, swimming, volleyball events The accommodation is a purpose built self contained 35 sqm private Studio to rear of our property, with its own access and sits adjacent to the swimming pool which has a council approved glass fence. The studio has a lounge area, with two sofas one of which is a sofa bed, free to air TV in the seating area and a queen bed. Whilst the studio does not have a kitchen in the traditional sense, it does have an area for prepping food and includes a large fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, and a two pan electric hob with frying pan, a saucepan and a stew pot provided. We also have provided you with cutlery and cooking implements. In addition to this, the studio also has a patio, outdoor table and chairs and a Bbq. If there is anything else you need, please ask. There is no kitchen sink however we provide a washing up basin and dishwashing products for you to clean up with. The wet-room includes a double shower in addition to the toilet and bathroom sink. It has a split system AC (heat & cooling). Whilst we do not include WiFi within the 'amenities' section of AirBnB on our listing due to reception issues in the Studio, the log on details are in the rear of the guest book, which is located under the Tv. We also have free off-street parking for 2-3 vehicles :-) The pool is available for guests use, please supervise non swimmers, children and those at risk. Our Laundry is available and is located in the main house. There is an iron and ironing board within the studio for your use. We do ask for a gold coin donation to help towards our electric costs and you can also use the detergents. We have a car port if you wish to store your bicycles and we also have off street parking for about 3 vehicles as well. N.B. The pool is surrounded by a suitable fence with lockable pool doors all of which are council approved Hosts, are a family of four, Mum & Dad both work, kids at school and the little dog, live in the main house on the property so are available if needed. Marino is a quiet seaside suburb, which overlooks the Gulf of St Vincent, on clear days you can see the York Peninsula which is on the other side across the Gulf. It is about 16 km from Adelaide CBD, and 6 km from Glenelg. We are close to Seacliff and Brighton beaches & Brighton Jetty can be seen from the studio, it’s about a 5 km walk. Marino is very close to the Seacliff Yacht Club, which holds many regattas and an excellent value for money feed on Friday nights, is less than a 5 minute drive away, as is Seacliff Beach. To get to the ocean at Marino Rocks, which also has a restaurant, is approximately a 15 mins walk. Marino is close to Westfield Marion Shopping Centre, the SA Aquatic Centre, Flinders Medical Centre (FMC) and Marino affords easy access to the Fleurieu Penisula - McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills & the Epicurean Way. Train to Adelaide a 10 minute downhill (15 min walk uphill from station) Bus route also close by. Our studio is at the rear of our garden and access is via stairs. We do have WiFi but the service can be patchy as the router is within the main home, however, if you come out of the studio to the pool deck the coverage will improve. As a result whilst WiFi is available and of course free to use, due to the signal strength we do not list 'WiFi' as one of our AIrbnb amenities. We are in a 4G mobile coverage area if being connected is vital.
