Set in the quiet countryside of the Somerset Levels, on the edge of a medieval village called Butleigh, close by to Glastonbury and it's Tor, the old haybarn is rustically converted to be a creative spacious retreat. Enjoy spreading out in the open plan home, relax and take time to slow down. Sit in the garden, walk the footpaths, wander the old Somerset droves, pretty woods and beautiful places nearby. The village shop, very good pub, visiting veg van and more caters for shop locally. Pull in to the barn's own parking area to see the Grade II Listed 16th Century Manor that the barn is part of, to unpack by the backdoor onto your private garden. Rested well in the deep king size bed, having had a generous shower or bath, choose to eat your breakfast on the bedroom balcony or sit in the sun by the garden door. The second mezzanine can be a yoga space (or can be used for sleeping/ futon /arrange with us). Later relaxing or map gazing at the dining table wander outside to one of the garden sitting areas. Any chores done such as laundry can dried on the clothes ceiling hanger. Watch dvds or, hole up in the library corner to read. Watch the glorious sunsets , cook in a fully equipped kitchen or out at the barbeque/firepit, spend time under the stars. Host is local and available if necessary. Occasional gardener around.
