Renovated 70's apartment near the river.
Renovated central London apartment. Large bright double room with built-in wardrobe, drawers, television and wifi. Towels supplied. Hand sanitiser gel , masks, gloves and antibacterial wipes provided Breakfast (muesli and fruit / coffee or tea) included Shared Kitchen / dining / bathroom, disinfected daily 10th floor room with a lovely outlook and only 200 metres from the river. Clean bedding and towels provided. Modern bright kitchen if you like to cook, or nice pubs / restaurants very close by. We are very central, within earshot of Big Ben and a 10 minute walk along the river to the Southbank with it's attractions, venues and theatres. A 30 minute stroll along the river to Piccadilly / Leicester Square /Covent Garden and Soho Newly fitted kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher and washing machine and huge fridge. Welcome to sit with us or watch your own TV in the bedroom. Wifi available and smoking is ok on the balcony which has a nice view over the park to the river and the London Eye. You may either stay in your room or join us and share our space downstairs. We are happy to maintain social distancing or wear masks if you'd prefer. There are car sharing vehicles parked downstairs.. While in London you're welcome to join Kerri and myself with whatever we're up to on that day or night. Whether it's going to the theatre or a music venue or even just hanging around home eating and drinking. The option is always there but not enforced :) There are 3 or 4 really nice pubs within 5 minutes walk from the flat. The closest is the Jolly Gardeners a hundred yards away which has a menu that is 50% vegan. There's also a Tea House / Theatre at the end of our street on Vauxhall Walk in the park, which has live music on a Friday night. The Black Dog and The Rose are also great old pubs. If you want to sit on the river, there's a boat pub called Tamesis Dock which is only 200 metres away. Damien Hirsts Newport Gallery has free exhibitions and is a 2 minute walk up the street. It also has a nice restaurant bar within the premises called Pharmacy 2 which is currently closed due to the pandemic. The Tate Gallery is straight across the river. We are walking distance to everywhere St James Park, Buckingham Palace, Borough Markets (where I go weekly for fish and cider) a bus also goes directly there, from the river bank. I can help with parking permits although we are located within the congestion zone so every time you drive your vehicle between 7am - 10 pm you will be charged £15 congestion charge. Various car clubs are up and down the road only 100 metres away and they cover the congestion charge and car insurance and even petrol. Bus stops are also 100 metres away which go to the Albert Hall, V & A museum , Science museum, Natural History museum. Buses along the river also go to Royal Festival Hall or Piccadilly, Regent St. and Oxford St. Vauxhall station is a 10 minute walk away. And of course Uber is also available. I can help you with getting around - but the best way to see London is by foot. And from this location you can walk everywhere :) Breakfast is included each morning which consists of a bowl of muesli and fresh fruit and tea or coffee. We also overlook the Waterloo train line so if you're a light sleeper we do supply earplugs.
