Stable Cottage is a comfortable, self contained, fully equipped 2 bedroomed annex situated on our 5 acre horse property in Wanneroo. Close to all amenities, but feels rural. A retreat in the northern suburbs of Perth. Children welcome, come and meet our horses Princess (Prinnie) and Coconut (Coco) and many chickens. Fresh eggs supplied. We have a stable block and day paddocks with shelters. Bring your horses, simply ask for availability and daily prices. Full agistment facilities available. Stable Cottage offers a break away in a semi rural location that is near to shops, family pubs and restaurants. We offer long or short term accommodation. The cottage is comfortable and clean with new kitchen equipment and utensils. There is a large wall mounted TV and DVD player with a collection of DVD's for your entertainment. The comfy leather sofa folds out into a double bed if required. Outside in the private covered patio area, there is a gas BBQ and dining table and chairs that look out over the garden and paddocks. We are family friendly and can offer a camping cot, cot linen and a highchair on request for babies and toddlers. A selection of children’s books, toys and games for your little ones to enjoy. Come and feed our placid horse ‘Princess’ and her little buddy ‘Coconut’ - the mini horse. They love carrots and lots attention. They will often come over to the cottage to get carrots or apples. We provide breakfast for you to prepare at your leisure. Tea, coffee, eggs, bread, milk, cereals, fresh fruit and various condiments such as jam, marmalade and honey. There is a kitchen with new appliances such as a fridge, microwave, x2 ring electric cook top, electric frypan, slow cooker, toaster, small pie warming oven etc. Ideal for work-travel, enjoy the open space yet only 2 minute car ride from shops, cafes, pubs and food outlets. 10 minute drive from Joondalup city centre. We provide books, board games a DVD collection and Wifi connection. The five acres are accessible for you to explore. The granny annex has a picket fence and gates that surround it’s own private enclosed paved patio and BBQ area to ensure children can’t wander far. Feed our horse carrots and collect fresh eggs from the chooks. Stable cottage has its own gated entrance and secure parking for unlimited cars trailers, horse box, camper van or caravan. We are approachable and friendly but also aware that you want your privacy. The granny annex has its own gated entrance, with unlimited parking space. We live in the adjoining house so are around to answer any questions you may have. Children are most welcome, come and feed our horses ‘Princess’ and ‘Coconut’, pat them up close. We provide carrots for the horses. Feel free to feed the chickens and enjoy fresh eggs. We are surrounded by open space and horse properties but have access to all amenities on our door step. At one end of the street is a new ‘Farmer Jacks’ supermarket open from 7am until 9pm, The Ashby pub and family restaurant, drive in bottle shop, fish and chip shop, a coffee shop, hairdressers, nail bar and a 'Foodary' petrol station that is open 24/7. We are 3km/5 minute drive to Wanneroo and Banksia Grove shopping centres with numerous shops, chemists, restaurants, cafe's, fast food outlets and banks with cash dispensers. We are a 10 minute drive to Joondalup city centre, where there is a very large shopping centre called 'Lakeside' with extensive various shops, restaurants, a cinema complex, pubs, cafes and a train station that leads you directly into Perth CBD. There is a 'park and ride' car park next to the train station. We are on the borders of Wanneroo, Mariginiup and Jandabup so the other end of the street is rural and leads to open spaces. At the end of Caporn Street there is a bus service which takes you into Joondalup where there is a train station with direct access into Perth City Centre. Joondalup also has a large shopping mall, ‘Lakeside’ with a cinema complex, bars and restaurants. We are close to Caversham Wildlife Park, the waterpark at the Maze, Hillary's Boat Harbour, beautiful beaches, ‘Moorish Nuts’ and ‘House of Honey’ in Herne Hill. Stable cottage also has it’s own gated entrance with reserved private secure parking for 3/4 cars. There is room to accommodate a caravan and or a Camper-van alongside the cottage. Ask for daily rates and bring a friend along to enjoy your stay. The accommodation is ideally suited to two adults and two children, (or up to four adults) as the living area is compact. There is however a leather double sofa bed in the living area that can accommodate another two bed options - totalling six. The private outside dining and patio area gives extra living space for families in warmer months. The property is on a fairly busy road mid week but quiet on the weekends. Unlimited parking.
