We are Mt Bellevue ™, sitting high a picturesque ridge line covered by the canopy of our Sky Vineyards ™, with stunning views across the King Valley. The accommodation at Mt Bellevue ™, is an original red cedar cottage with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining and living areas. The Lodge is beautiful and full off character and charm. But the setting is breathtaking. A great place to rest and unwind, as well as the ideal location to explore all of the culinary delights the King Valley has to offer. Mt Bellevue ™ is a historic Mountain situated in the King Valley on the footsteps of Victoria's High Country. First discovered in 1824 by Hume and Hovell, Mt Bellevue was aptly named as the views and landscape are spectacular. Our Lodge sits high and proud on the ridge of Mt Bellevue™, with stunning vistas across the King and Myrrhee Valley's to the the snow fields. In winter you can gaze at snow peaked mountains, and at night you can marvel at the stars. We have our own private vineyard that you can explore 30 meters from the house. Expansive lawns make a great spot to unwind and enjoy the views or for families to play. Neighbouring properties include several leading wine labels, cattle and sheep farms all with gorgeous vistas. There are large amounts of native wildlife from Kangaroos and Wombats to Cockatoos. The Lodge™ itself is a charming 3 bedroom Alpine Lodge full of character and simple luxury. This is the King Valleys most spectacular location; with so much to offer through different parts of the year. All of this within a short drive to all that the King Valley has to offer. The King Valley is fast becoming one of Australia's must go wine destinations with the majority of well known wineries getting a foothold in the region over the last decade including; Brown Brothers, Yalumba, De Bortoli, Pizzini amongst many more. The region is also renowned for its gourmet experience with the renowned Milawa Cheese Factory, Christmont, Mountain View Hotel, King River Brewey ... and the list goes on. Outdoors, enjoy Paradise Falls, Lake William Hovell, King River and an array of cycling and waking tracks. Mt Bellevue lodge is 20 minutes to Whitfield and Moyhu two of the destination locations in the King Valley.
