Located within walking distance from the Barnes Butte Trail system, this quaint little bungalow is located in a safe and quiet established neighborhood ideal for Outdoor loving couples or friends looking to get away for a relaxing weekend or to use as a base camp between adventures. The bungalow is situated close to hiking, biking, climbing, swimming, boating, hunting, fishing, mushroom foraging, and skiing locally and in the region and owned and operated by former outdoor professionals. Decorated in mountain western style, with the use of natural materials, much of which hand made, refinished, and harvested by the owners. We're happy to connect and socialize with our guests when we are available, but we want to respect your space and give you the opportunity to relax and recharge! We are happy to come to do a walk-through when we are available to do so. We can also be contacted via cell or Airbnb Messenger. Located in an quiet, and established neighborhood in Prineville, our humble neighborhood butts up to the Barnes Butte trail system. The butte is a recreational area and includes the IronHorse hiking trail, a 4-mile loop hike that summits to panoramic views. The butte is considered one of three popular landmarks near Prineville and has been set aside for scenic preservation. While having a vehicle is ideal especially in winter, it's not necessary during the summer, spring and fall, as the property is located within a mile and a quarter from downtown Prineville. There is both parking on the street as well as covered and uncovered parking on the property. A total of 3 spaces on the property are available to guests, 3 on-street parking spaces are typically available as well.
