A beautiful rural property with lovely views. It has lovely views from pretty much everywhere and quiet spaces to suit everyone. Take a long walk on rolling pastures or a bush walk through native gums. If you're after a serene getaway, or work accommodation that's like a holiday - this is it! The separate bungalow that was the 'Cattery' has been gutted and refreshed with love and attention and now provides quiet, spacious accommodation and (more recently) a bathroom, featuring shower, toilet and basin. The bungalow sleeps 5: 1 x King, 1 x Queen + 1 x Single Canine Pets welcome - must notify Host on booking - small nightly fee ($10) applies per dog. There is an open Cabana that has a BBQ, bar fridge, running water, glassware/crockery/cutlery, and of course, you will have access to the Pool, the Fernery (a quiet place to sit) and all the surrounding places to wander. NB: It is imperative you give us an accurate ETA on the day of your arrival. It is a large property and someone needs to be on hand when you arrive to show you where to park, what areas you can access, and where lights, water and amenities are located. Quiet (you will hardly hear a neighbour, and you definitely won't see them). Town (shops, cafès, takeaway) is approx. 15 minutes away. You will definitely feel like you've escaped the cityscape! The magnificent 'Manning River' is just a stone's throw from the entrance to the property, and if you feel like launching a fishing boat, Wingham has a boat ramp - just 15 minutes away. Car or motorcycle is the only option for getting around. There are three XPT trains each day going to & from Wingham, and food & clothes shopping, bakeries, liquor outlets & restaurants all within 10 - 30 minutes. If you're into horses & want to BYO - feel free. There's plenty of space for horse riding. No Crofton here! A young kelpie (Rossi) resides here permanently.
