Barn Cottage

Beautiful converted barn in the Surrey countryside. Set in a peaceful location with easy access to London and close to Gatwick & Heathrow airports. A unique property away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but close enough to London to be in a very convenient location. Barn Cottage forms part of a manor house dating back to C1296. With its charm and beautiful setting, you will not want to leave! We are very close to some wonderful golf courses including Walton Heath. Barn Cottage has recently been renovated so it is modern, clean and has all the amenities you would need for a holiday away from home. There is a beautiful garden and pond area with BBQ and space to relax. We are surrounded by fields and there are some lovely walks. We are on the Pilgrims Way and there is a designated footpath through the farmland. We are usually available if there are any issues and happy to be of help when needed. It’s always lovely to meet our guests. Alderstead Manor is in a peaceful location and we do not have neighbours. We have two barn rentals. We would like to think our guests have enough space to be able to enjoy the surrounding countryside and lovely location. The area has plenty to offer and we are close to some beautiful historical houses. Chartwell, Winston Churchill’s country house and also Hever, King Henry VIII’s residence are around a 30 minute drive away. The train station is just over a mile from us and we have easy access to London with trains running regularly to London Bridge and Victoria. Brighton is only 35 minutes by car or train. We are very close to Gatwick airport and the M23/M25 are on our doorstep. A car would be useful as we do live in an area not easily accessible by foot to the railway station. We do have bicycles you may be able to borrow and there are some excellent bike trails around the area.
