Omaroo Bed & Breakfast
Our modern one bedroom apartment, it has a true contemporary feeling over looking a wonderful view of the River Murray and township of historical Mannum. It comfortably accommodates two and is centrally located within 50 metres of the main street. You can explore the local environment, whether you are a nature lover, visiting Gass Reserve and observing bird life and the lagoon or river, taking a walk at the Mannum Waterfalls, 10kms away reached by a vehicle or you could hire cycles from Mannum Dock Museum and cycle out there. It's not too strenuous and great way to explore. Monarto Open Range Zoo is close by, 30 minutes drive and well worth spending a day there. A vehicle is able to be parked out the front next to the path that leads you into the B&B. It is 5 minutes walk to the main street with many choices to wine and dine. The Mary Anne Reserve is only 5 minutes walk down a set of stairs locally known as the Golden Stairs (86 in all) from Anna Lane which is a historical walkway parallel with the main street set on top of a cliff with exceptional views. Mostly I am available as I live on the top floor and I always provide a point of contact if I'm going out for any particular reason. It is a quiet street, neighbours are not a problem. The B&B has a camera system for security in situ. There is a bus service from the city of Adelaide that comes via Murray Bridge to Mannum. It would take a few hours to reach destination from Adelaide. A vehicle is a preferred way of seeing the local area. Walking can also give you an experience within the township. A continental breakfast is provided each morning. A fully functioning kitchen with a dish washer and stove if you want to prepare your own meals. TV with a CD player and movies available. Many books to read at your leisure.
