A comfortable room for a single traveller in a Canberra home. The house is warm and inviting. Fire place and central heating to keep you cosy in winter. Large leafy backyard with outside entertaining area and swimming pool for warmer months. A quite neighbourhood with easy access to bus routes to all major attractions. A comfortable and clean room for a single traveller. A rollaway bed is available if you are travelling with a friend. The accommodation is for a single room only. Other areas of the house will be shared with your host: bathroom, toilet, lounge, dining, kitchen, outdoor areas and pool. Information regarding the local area or planning your stay will be readily available on request. Some materials, including maps, will be provided in the room. The suburb has many green areas and walking tracks. The shopping centre for Giralang is still under construction however there are shops, a sporting complex and restaurants within walking distance at Kaleen or a short bus ride to Belconnen or Gungahlin. There are walking tracks to local shops at Kaleen, AIS and Canberra University. Buses stop 2 mins from the house that can take you to Civic, Belconnen or Gungahlin Centres. One 20-30 min bus ride will take you to Civic where there is an abundance of restaurants, night clubs and major attractions. Information regarding taxis and car rentals will be provided on request. There is space for a car if you have your own transport. The pool is only operational during the Summer months in Canberra.
