We have a cosy home nestled in acres of farming land and yet we are only five kilometers from Brown Brothers Winery and just around the corner from the Milawa Cheese Factory. We enjoy meeting people and love our region. We'd love you to stay and sample that escape to the country you deserve! The Milawa Gourmet region has much to offer in all seasons. A day on the slopes is under two hours away. Rail trails are excellent and the King Valley wine region offers a delightful food and wine trail as well as the vista right down the valley from Power's Lookout. Easily accessed from the Hume Freeway and the Great Alpine Road. The family sitting room has a lovely big open fire perfect for relaxing and sipping a local red. Many restaurants and wineries are offering takeaway meals at the moment and our sitting room is a lovely space to enjoy your gourmet treats. We enjoy sharing a drink and cheese with our guests and will happily recommend favourite restaurants, wineries and activities. Now Spring is here you may enjoy sunning on the verandah or sipping bubbles in the garden. Milawa is a wonderful region for cyclists and 'Paddock to Plate' adventures. There is no viable public transport so you need your car to access the northeast. However, we are more than happy to provide drop off and pick up services to our guests if they are attending weddings or functions and feel concerned about drinking and driving. The Bike hire company in Beechworth offers a wonderful shuttle service and can supply bikes and ebikes to suit your needs. # (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) We prefer bookings 24 hours in advance if possible. We usually have a second bedroom available so that you can book with friends. If you are travelling as part of a household and can share a bathroom please let us know so we can provide you with the opportunity to book the second bedroom. (Please note that both our rooms have double beds, not twin beds) You will have exclusive use of the guest bathroom facilities. Our cleaning routine has always included frequently touched areas such as handles, switches, cords bedroom surfaces and all bathroom areas. We have redoubled our efforts to make sure that you can relax and enjoy your break in our gourmet region.
