Set in the northern end of Kaiapoi with farmland over the back fence is my beautifully renovated home in a peaceful location. Making use of a small spare room with a king single bed, it’s a good option if traveling in a tight budget for a weekend away. Ideal for singles only unless you’re ok with the couch in the lounge for another guest. During summer months only, there is a retro Caravan with small double bed and a single available, plus airport transfers also additional option @ $25 each way. Cosy and warm with heat pump in lounge. Nice outdoor areas to sit and relax with a book or glass of wine. Country style kitchen available for use, maybe try some kiwi cuisine or introduce me to yours. Guest bedroom has king single bed so suitable for one guest only, however During summer months, a retro caravan is also available which has double and single bed, listed as the second bedroom, may load as an additional listing Lounge is also accessible and has fibre TV, 55" and fibre broadband, Netflix and sometimes Sky TV Join me for a meal, beer or wine or do your own thing, the choice is yours Lovely Rivertown undergoing a major facelift after the earthquakes. Loads of great cafes and restaurants, including riverboat cafe/ restaurant which I’d recommend, all within a short walk or drive as well as a modern skatepark, world class BMX track, library, supermarket all within walking distance. There are Two beaches, just a short 5 minute drive. Planning is underway for a world class aqua park which will be about a 5 minute walk. Close to bus routes and only a couple of minutes drive to northern motorway and approximately 25 min to Christchurch city centre, 15 min to Christchurch Airport and 90 min toHanmer Springs, its a great location to live or visit. I have a full time boarder who is quiet and friendly, and my 15 year old son stays with me in the weekends
