Welcome to our beautiful family home - a large Edwardian house in the popular bohemian neighbourhood of Seven Dials, centrally located just minutes walk from the beach, parks, town centre, lanes, North Laine and Brighton station. Spread over 4 floors the house has 4 double bedrooms, and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. We have lovely sun filled front and back gardens with seating,dining, firepit and BBQ. Enjoy our cinema room and studio. Our home is filled with carefully collected and much loved pieces from around the world that reflect our love of travel and interior decoration. You will find books in most rooms for your perusal and enjoyment, if design, art, cookery and literature are your thing you should find something to get stuck into. This is a house to be enjoyed with friends and family, we love to cook, read, listen to music and just hang out. Whether you fire up the Weber bbq , sit by the fire pit, or have a sundowner on the bench we are pretty sure you will have a joyous time. The kitchen is fully equipped to rustle up a feast and we have a Nutribullet and magi mix food processor if you need. We have a Sonos music system in the kitchen and living areas. You can watch movies on the projector in our beautiful studio space. Charlotte is a yoga teacher so there are mats, blocks and straps available for your practise. The house is set up for gatherings and there is dining for 8 in the kitchen, garden and a large table with settle and bench in the living space for group use. Our house has original floorboards throughout. We also enjoy open fireplaces in our living space and provide wood in winter months. Access to all areas. Guests will have the whole house to themselves for the duration of their stay. We may be around to show you around but if we are not, Charlottes lovely Mum Dee will be on hand . Our home is situated in the popular and bohemian 7 Dials, full of boutique shops, cafes, gift and thrift shops, bakeries, florists, delicatessens, pubs, bars and lots of great restaurants. There are also beauty and massage salons, a natural health centre and some other hidden gems for you to discover. The CO-OP is a 3 minute walk around the corner for all of your basic needs and more. We are luckily sandwiched between two fantastic parks with cafes, play areas, an open air theatre and year round events. We are a 10 minute walk from Brighton station (down the hill to the station) 15 to Hove station (up the hill to our house). The house is only a 15 minute walk to the beautiful beach, prom and its many delights, 10 minutes drive to Devils Dyke and the stunning green of the South Downs and a 15 minute walk to the town centre, lanes and North Laine. We live in a really family friendly, inclusive community and we are friends with our neighbours. Please be respectful of that and we are sure you will have a wonderful time here. Our house is centrally located in Seven Dials and is walking distance to pretty much everywhere you could wish to go in both Brighton and Hove. Trains to London and surrounding areas are plentiful from nearby Brighton station, (sometimes) taking as little as 50 minutes into London Victoria. Buses run in all directions from Seven Dials if you don't fancy walking and taxis in Brighton are also relatively affordable - a few pounds will get you to most places across the city. If you're feeling energetic, we also now have Brighton bikes for hire very affordably across the city (the nearest to us is Vernon Terrace). This is great if you fancy a cycle along the prom or up to Devils Dyke. We are also blessed with many fabulous walking routes throughout the South Downs. There is paid parking available in our road - we are in parking zone O where the cost to park for 24 hours is £5.20.
